Mick Foley comes out. Foley says that tonight, the main event will be a rematch of last week's main event: Daniel Bryan vs Batista vs Edge vs Roman Reigns, where the winner fights Jacob Cass at Battleground for the World Heavyweight Championship. Foley then says that, in order to prevent chaos, Evolution is banned from ringside during and after the match. Triple H then comes out. Triple H mockingly says he's surprised Foley didn't include Rader in the match, seeing as how he treats Rader so favorably. Foley tells HHH that Rader asked for a world title match in the future and he's just preparing Rader for it. HHH says that, in order to prevent bias on Foley's part, he's instating a new Co-GM for Foley to work alongside with; John Bradshaw Layfield

| "Rey Mysterio vs Kane" (segment/brawl)

Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara, Kane, Rader & JBL
|
After Kane begins attacking Rader with a steel chair during their match, Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara come out to help Rader. Kane goes to hit Mysterio with the chair, but Mysterio dropkicks the chair back into Kane's face. Sin Cara then wedges the chair into the corner, with Rey giving Kane a hurricanrana into the chair. As Mysterio & Cara are helping Rader back to his feet, JBL comes out and says that Mysterio & Sin Cara's behavior towards Kane is unacceptable and that the two would have a tag-team match right then.

After the second match

| "The Wyatt Family & Kane vs Mysterio, Cara, Rader & Undertaker" (segment/brawl)

Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Kane, Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara, Rader & Undertaker

During the third match, Bray Wyatt and Kane begin attacking Mysterio & Cara with steel chairs. Rader comes in and tries to help them, but Harper & Rowan beat him down. Suddenly, a gong is heard and the lights go out. When they come back on, Undertaker is in the ring. He begins attacking the Wyatts & Kane, but eventually succumbs to the numbers game. Mysterio, Cara & Rader try helping Undertaker. Kane, however, gives Mysterio & Cara a double chokeslam, allowing the Wyatt Family to clear the ring. Bray Wyatt then grabs a microphone and says that the Wyatt Family has found a new brother in Kane, all four guided by the hand of "Sister Abigail."

| "The Intercontinental Championship" (segment)

Fandango

After Fandango defeats Cesaro, he grabs a mic. Fandango says that, as he already said, his only goal in WWE is to win titles. Therefore, he states that he will be included in the Battleground Battle Royal for the Intercontinental Championship. Then, as a "show of skill," Fandango tosses Cesaro over the top rope to the outside of the ring.

After the fourth match

| "Lita vs Paige" (segment/brawl)

After Lita's victory against Natalya, she seemingly goes to shake Natalya's hand. However, Lita then turns it into a Twist of Fate. Lita gets a microphone and says that Natalya has no right to shake her hand because she hasn't been in the business as long as Lita. Lita says the same applies with Paige, saying that she doesn't deserve to be champion and wants Paige to prove herself at Battleground by fighting Lita. This prompts Paige to come out and help Natalya. Paige and Lita brawl for a while, before Lita grabs Paige's title belt and hits her with it. As Lita is about to give Paige a Twist of Fate, Paige reverses it into a Paige Turner. Paige then tells a downed Lita that she accepts her challenge.

After HHH uses dirty tactics to help Jacob Cass get a pinfall victory on Dean Ambrose, Mick Foley comes out. Foley then criticizes HHH, since HHH apparently doesn't trust him due to his "special treatment of Rader," but has no problem giving Cass special treatment. HHH then says that, while he was only going to make JBL Co-GM, Foley is overstepping his boundaries, first with banning Evolution from ringside in the main event and secondly from saying slanderous things about HHH. HHH then says that next week on Smackdown Foley will have to defend his job in a no-disqualification match against JBL.
