Paul Heyman & Triple H
|
Paul Heyman comes to the ring. Heyman announces that later in the night there would be a rematch from the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View: Jacob Cass vs Roman Reigns. He also said that the match would be a title match, prompting Triple H to come out. Triple H says he overrides Heyman's decision, but Heyman says he was instructed to announce this match by the Board of Directors. Heyman also says the Board has banned Evolution from ringside, angering Triple H.

Beginning of the show

"A Better Partner" (segment)

Curtis Axel & Heath Slater
|
Curtis Axel comes out to the ring alone. He says that his time as Ryback's partner was an utter failure. He says that they only won the tag titles by a fluke and they couldn't even defend them successfully once. Axel then says that he's found himself a better partner; another person who was held back by a bad partner. Heath Slater then comes out, saying that he and Axel will dominate the tag team division. Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara come out and the two teams begin a match.

Before the second match

| "The United States Championship" (segment)

AJ Styles & Triple H
|
AJ Styles comes out to the ring. Styles says that he doesn't like the circumstances he won the United States title under and wants to give Zayn a rematch at Battleground. Triple H then comes out and says that the match is official; however, there's one catch. Triple H says the match will also include Dolph Ziggler, and that AJ Styles has to fight Ziggler right now.

Before the fourth match

| "The Highlight Reel"

Chris Jericho & Batista
|
Chris Jericho comes out. He announces tonight, the Highlight Reel will return and that the first guest of the revived show will be Batista. Batista comes out, seemingly irritated by Jericho. Jericho then plays the clip of last week's Smackdown where Batista beat down Daniel Bryan and joined Evolution. Jericho asks why Batista joined Evolution again, to which Batista replies "I don't have to tell you." Jericho attempts to cajole the answer out of Batista to no evail. Jericho then calls Batista a coward, prompting Batista to challenge him to a match to see "who the real coward is." A referee comes out and the match begins.

| "The WWE Championship" (segment)

CM Punk & Paul Heyman
|
CM Punk grabs a microphone after beating Bad News Barrett. He says that since he beat Bad News two weeks in a row by pinfall, that means he's a more viable contender for the WWE Championship than he is. Paul Heyman comes out and says that Punk is right and that Punk can be included in the match, making it a triple threat.

After the seventh match

| "Seth Rollins Joins Evolution" (segment/brawl)

Jacob Cass, Roman Reigns, Rader & Seth Rollins
|
After Jacon Cass gets himself disqualified in the main event, costing Roman Reigns the World Heavyweight Championship, Reigns spears Cass. Reigns then begins to attack Cass with a chair, prompting Rader to come out and attempt to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase, much to the support of Reigns. However, before the match can begin Seth Rollins comes out and hits Reigns with a chair, distracting Rader. Cass then turns Rader around and gives him a Stunner, which Rollins follows up with a Curb Stomp to Rader. Rollins then grabs a microphone and says the "higher power" he was seeking is Evolution. Jacob Cass and Seth Rollins leave the ring together laughing to end the show.
