Debut[]
WWE announced in late June 2012, that Kevin Steen had been signed to WWE under a one year contract and would be assigned to Raw SuperShow. However, after several appearances in Dark Matches, Kevin was moved to WWE's Developmental Territories.
Feud with the Bloodline (2020-Present)[]
After being drafted to Smackdown, Owens immediately re-started his feud with Roman Reigns and his faction The Bloodline (Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Paul Heyman) over the World Heavyweight Championship, taking Jimmy Uso out of action by accident after a botched piledriver through a table, which was turned into a storyline. Owens then bested Jey in a two-out-of-three falls match to earn number one contendership for Roman's title, defended his title shot against Daniel Bryan before winning the Championship in a Last Man Standing match at the Royal Rumble, and successfully defended it against Reigns at Elimination Chamber.
