Truth debuted in HCW in September 2010 as a Face pursuiting the HCW Extreme Championship but would fail 3 times. Shortly after his pursuit for the Extreme title ended he would team with John Morrison to not only win the HCW World Tag Team Championships and would go on to hold onto them for the single longest time at 6 months but would lose them to Evan Bourne and Justin Gabriel after failing to regain the tag titles twice, the team split and Truth has since been pursuiting the State Heavyweight Championship.
Heel Turn and Departure.[]
Truth would turn heel, attacking John Morrison. He would then start a feud with Morrison that cumilated to the next ppv Night of Mayhem because during the match, Truth injured Morrison and afterwords, Truth would start a feud with Jim Logan. After losing to Jim twice, the feud ended with Truth beating Logan in a Tables match after help from CM Punk. At SummerMania, Truth lost to Morrison. In Septemer, Truth and Miz were released from their contracts after a loser gets fired, tag team match vs Kofi Kingston & Evan Bourne.

Truth would be resigned by John Laurnitus and would return alongside the Miz as a tag team The Awesome Truth. After losing to Team Bring it at Survior Series, Truth would turn face after Miz turned on Truth. Over the following months, Truth would team with Kofi Kingston and Homicide. Truth would also get a title shot.
